The agreement
These terms form a binding agreement between you and Sugar Baby Chicago covering your use of this website and the services offered through it. Our privacy policy forms part of this agreement.
Who may use it
- You must be twenty or over. There are no exceptions, and accounts belonging to anyone under twenty are removed permanently.
- You must be legally able to enter into this agreement where you live.
- You must not have been previously removed from the platform.
- You must not be required to register as a sex offender under any applicable law.
Your account
You are responsible for the security of your account and for everything done through it. Use a password you use nowhere else, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access.
One person, one account. Accounts may not be sold, shared or transferred, and you may not create a new one to evade a removal.
Everything on your profile must be about you and must be accurate — your age, your photographs and your description of yourself. Using another person’s photographs is grounds for immediate removal.
Rules of conduct
You agree not to do any of the following, on the platform or in connection with anyone you meet through it:
- Offer, solicit or advertise paid sexual services, or use the platform in any way that constitutes prostitution, trafficking or exploitation.
- Ask any member for money, bank details, gift cards, cryptocurrency or any other financial transfer, or attempt any form of fraud.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, defame or intimidate another member, or continue contact after being asked to stop.
- Send sexually explicit images to anyone who has not asked for them.
- Threaten to publish, or publish, private images or information about another member.
- Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your age, identity or affiliations.
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, or that depicts or involves anyone under eighteen.
- Collect other members’ information, scrape the site, or use bots or automated tools against it.
- Advertise, promote or recruit for anything, including other platforms.
What this service is
Sugar Baby Chicago is a dating platform for adults in Chicago, Illinois. It is not an escort agency, a companionship-for-hire service or a marketplace of any kind, and it must not be used as one.
Relationships between consenting adults, including relationships in which one person supports the other’s lifestyle, are a matter for the adults concerned. Exchanging money for specific sexual acts is unlawful and is prohibited here. Nothing agreed between members creates any obligation to meet, to continue a relationship, or to engage in any physical contact; consent may be withdrawn by either person at any time, for any reason.
Content you post
You keep ownership of everything you post. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce and display that content solely in order to operate the service — for example, showing your profile to other members. That license ends when you delete the content or your account, other than for copies retained in backups or where we are required to keep records.
You confirm that you own or have the right to post everything you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Moderation and removal
New profiles are reviewed before they appear. We may review reported conversations, and we may suspend or permanently remove any account that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, or that presents a risk to other members. Where a breach is serious — anything involving a minor, coercion, or financial crime — removal is immediate and permanent.
We are not obliged to monitor all content, and removing one account does not oblige us to remove any other.
Payments
Creating a profile, browsing members and using the filters is free. Optional paid memberships, where taken, are billed through our payment processor on the terms shown at the point of purchase, including the billing period and how to cancel.
Paid memberships renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current period. Canceling stops future charges and leaves the current period running to its end. If your account is removed for breaking these terms, no refund is due.
Meeting people is your risk
We do not conduct criminal background checks on members. Photo verification confirms that the person using an account is the person in its photographs; it confirms nothing else about them, and an unverified account is not necessarily a false one.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, online and in person. Take the precautions in our safety guide: meet in public, arrange your own transport, tell someone where you are going, and never send money to anyone you have not met.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any member is who they claim to be, or that you will meet anyone at all.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for the conduct of any member, whether online or in person. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Cook County, Illinois.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you before it takes effect; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
You can close your account at any time from your settings. We may end this agreement by removing your account under the moderation section above. The content, liability and governing-law sections survive termination.
